Welcome to ThriVING!

Would you like to overcome anxiety in New York? My name is Ruth and I am a Thrive Consultant here in the North East United States. I live in Massachusetts, but with coaching via Skype can help you wherever you are. My mission is to help others learn to thrive. I became a Thrive Consultant because the program freed me from life-long phobia and anxiety, and I want to help others free themselves too. I am here to help you to create a thriving life!

When I found the Thrive Programme my life changed. I suffered for many years from generally anxiety and several phobias – specifically emetophobia (fear of throwing up/vomiting), fear of public speaking and a fear of the dentist as well as associated obsessive thinking – the program has had an enormously positive and transforming effect on my life and on those around me. I am no longer constrained by preconceived ideas and long-held beliefs.
I now greet the dentist with a smile, look forward to speaking engagements AND I no longer curtail my life because of my paralyzing sickness phobia. If you would like to know more about my story, check out the 2-part blog

How did I learn to THRIVE?

If you would like to overcome anxiety, this program can help. It is not therapy and is not counseling. Believe me, I had tried therapy – of all types and without success – over many years. What I liked so much is that Thrive is a straightforward, empowering psychological training course, and I was in the driving seat.
Working with a consultant helped to make sure that I was always driving in the right direction; because I did not want to take too many detours!
In addition, meeting with the consultant helped me to stay focused, optimistic and realistic. Most people master it in just a few weeks and like me, you can learn how to take control of your life. You too can thrive!
The program was created by a U.K. therapist with over 30 years experience, is fully backed up by scientific research, and is currently also being used in schools, businesses, organizations and hospitals – to great effect. Those were all facts that were very important to me as a habitual skeptic!
