How The Thrive Programme can help with anxiety and stress

Everyone has moments or periods in their lives when they are anxious, and for many it can become a daily occurrence. The UK’s Office for National Statistics said in 2013 that anxiety or depression was evidenced in 19% of people over 16 – that’s about 10 million individuals suffering as we speak.

Suffering from being unable to relax, startling easily, having difficulty concentrating, being unable to get to sleep or having difficulty sleeping through the night, worrying and worrying and worrying. Suffering from palpitations, fatigue, IBS, headaches, muscle tension, sweating and nausea, irritability, and full on panic attacks. Suffering and not being able to live the life that we want to live.

The wisdom to know how our self esteem is only ever about two weeks old and how to raise it and maintain it. The wisdom to be able to manage and lower our social anxiety. The wisdom to change and manage unhelpful thinking styles into thinking that works, not against us, but for us. The wisdom to understand that the anxiety and stress, the phobias and fears that are holding us back, are not happening to us but that we are creating. The wisdom to change to the life that we want and not settle for anything less.

The results that we get through all this new wisdom are a direct expression of our awareness and our willingness to apply this to ourselves over a committed period of time. The brain starts to adopt new habits after 25 to 30 days and so we begin to see the benefits after 4 to 5 weeks of working through The Thrive Programme.
